Polish Institute staff at FEHRL office

Agnieszka ukasiewicz from IBDiM joined the FEHRL Office at the end of January 2008. She is assigned a four-month secondment to learn about our activities in Brussels,  work with fellow project managers and research developers. She also works through the FEHRL Knowledge Centre. The secondment is a part of the FP6 ARCHES project and she will work closely with the European Commission.

Joint TRB – FEHRL workshop on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

The International Symposium on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for Design Evaluation and Construction Inspection took place at the TRB (Transport Research Board) Conference on January 18th, 2008 in Washington DC. The research whose objective is to indentify unmet non-destructive testing (NDT) is conducted in SHRP 2 (Strategic Highway Research Program) Project R06.

Presentations (available only for FEHRL's members) of the workshop made by FEHRL and TTI (Texas Transportation Institute).

COST 353 Final conference

 

Hereafter you find the invitation, the registration form and the programme for the COST 353 Final Conference in Germany .
 COST is the European Cooperation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research and the Action 353 dealing with winter maintenance is covered by 22 European States and the European Community.
This Conference deals with New Developments for Winter Service in Europe and will be an interesting European Winter Service Congress.
The conference takes place in Bad Schandau (near Dresden / East of Germany ) from 26th of May to 28th of May 2008.

The competition has opened on Janaury 15, 2008. There are stil places available for sponsoring participants from eligible countries. Register here.

Results will be available on February 5, 2008.

TRA2008 New Member States competition

The competition for 100 sponsored places to the TRA2008 conference opens on January 15, 2008 at 12:00 (noon) GMT+1. The primary criteria will be speed of registration!
