FERSI conference on Ageing and Safe Mobility to be held at BASt

FEHRL member BASt to host FERSI conference on 27-28th November 2014.

 

Raschid Urmeev, General-Secretary of FERSI, is organising a conference on behalf of FERSI for up to 200 particpants on 27-28th November 2014 at the premises of BASt in Bergisch-Gladbach, near Cologne, Germany on the theme of “Ageing and Safe Mobility”.

The conference aims to overview the results of research in the area of safety and mobility of elderly road users, identify existing challenges and set priorities for implementing measures. HUMANIST, ECTRI, ETRA and EURONCAP have already confirmed their agreement to cooperate.The unique features of this conference are:

  • Orientation on implementation of the available state-of-the-art research results
  • Addressing all main safety factors: human factors, infrastructure, vehicles, traffic management systems
  • Seeking for interdisciplinary solutions.

Four safety areas will be addressed in four respective conference sections: 

  • Human Factors
  • Infrastructure
  • Car Engineering 
  • Traffic Management Systems
