SUREBridge final workshop to be held on 23rd May 2018
After the successful first SUREBridge workshop held in September 2017, the project consortium has arranged a final workshop to be held on 23rd May 2018 from 1-4.30pm at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, where they would like to present the final findings and results of the project and establish possible future collaboration with the industry.
SUREBridge is a project in the framework of the Infravation programme, which is a transnational collaboration of 11 countries and the European Commission on road infrastructure innovation. SUREBridge puts forward an innovative method for strengthening and repair of existing concrete bridges using advanced fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) materials providing bridge owners a more sustainable bridge upgrading tool. The project is a joint effort between Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden), FiberCore Europe (Netherlands), University of Pisa (Italy) and AICE consulting (Italy).
A wide range of audience is invited to the workshop including Swedish Transport Administration, design offices and contractors active in the field of strengthening and repair of infrastructure. The workshop shall be held at Sven Hultins gata 6, Room SB-K496 on the 4th floor, Chalmers University of Technology, 412 96 Gothenburg.
