The first SENSKIN workshop on Wednesday 8th November started with a first "Setting the Scene" session moderated by FEHRL Deputy Secretary General Adewole Adesiyun. Sergio Escriba, SENSKIN Project Officer from the EC/INEA gave an opening speech describing the expections for SENSKIN, followed by Project Coordinator Konstantinos Loupos of ICCS who introduced the project, while J.R. Casas of the Technical University of Catalonia discussed the latest trends in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM).
