Celebration for start of research phase of Programme

Infravation Programme funders, management team members and researchers gathered on Sunday 10th January 2016 at the start of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 95th Annual Meeting in Washington DC, USA, to celebrate the successful start of the research phase of the Programme.  Michael Trentacoste, U.S. Federal Highway Administration Associate Administrator for  Research, Development, and Technology and Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center Director, Steve Phillips, Secretary-General for the Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR), and Rijkswaterstaat Managing Director Peter Struik -- representing the Programme funders - provided brief opening comments at the gathering.
