INFRAVATION SEMINAR Rome

17 and 18 September 2018

Venue: – Auditorium Via Rieti - Via Rieti, 13 – Roma

INFRAVATION is a research platform aimed to develop transport infrastructure innovations addressing the challenges identified in the European Commission's White Paper on Transport: Smart, Green and Integrated transport. Cost-effective advanced systems, materials and techniques in road infrastructure construction and maintenance, including repair, retrofitting and revamping, are the main objective of the INFRAVATION research programme. The solutions called for include materials technology, methods, processes and supporting systems, such as for monitoring, communication and energy. In order to deliver the full benefits of research and development activities carried out in the transport infrastructure sectors, INFRAVATION brings together funding from the Netherlands, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, USA and the EU into one common transnational call framework to fund joint research projects. In 2014 the ERA-NET Plus INFRAVATION  Call for proposals was launched and the following nine projects have been funded:

In order to disseminate the results of the project, Anas has organised a seminar addressed to road engineers, researchers, and technicians. The seminar will last two days and will be focused on bridge and pavement monitoring and repairing techniques and methodologies.

The official languages of the seminar are English and Italian. An Italian interpreting service will guarantee the necessary translation (Italian/English, English/Italian).
